Dear Parents,
This month our theme is “My Body” on
which children’s learning experiences will be based.
Language
Development:
Through
different activities children will be able to relate, connect, relevant
vocabulary e.g. ears, eyes, nose, mouth, etc. During this month they will
recognize and write letter (Mm Dd Gg Oo) and in Urdu
(
) will be introduced.
Mathematical
Learning:
They
will be given opportunities to describe basic shapes using appropriate
vocabulary and write numbers from 0 to 20. They will count a collection of
objects accurately from 0 to 20.
Science:
This
unit will also include many areas of health. We will be discussing about kinds
of food which are good for health and which are not good.
They
will also learn:
*Variations
of color of eyes and hair.
*Bones
are the body’s supporting framework.
*Importance
of taking care of the body through brushing teeth, washing hands and bathing
regularly.
*Function
and importance of the five sense organs.
Art:
They
will participate in different activities of drawing, coloring painting,
printing, cutting etc.
We
will appreciate your help if you would encourage your child.
*To
wash his / her hands before and after each meal
*To
brush his / her teeth twice a day, after breakfast and before going to bed.
